Q&R Construction Firm. was started September 9,2003 by a young entrepreneur name ‘Q’ he is the last of seven children and the only to venture into the Construction industry. His five brothers and one sister had other interest ,construction not being one of them.

    He started out working with another company called G.K. Harris Concrete and Excavation where he found several ways that the company could be improved, but being the new guy and one of the youngest, he was ignored and ultimately let go. Refusing to give up, he offered to work for free, where he stated words to the effect "I just want to learn".

    Giving the green light he committed himself to menial labor, where he had an opportunity to work with a number of tradesmen from Carpenters to Finishers. Not being aware of the training he was receiving all the while long. He quite often would have time to reflect on his decision to enter into the Construction industry at lunch time , where he instead of congregating with others he would choose to use this time for more thinking and planning..

    While others were eating lunch and fellowshipping he was studying and growing at the same time,Worn out & in a fit of despondence he left GK Harris Construction Firm.Not knowing if he would fail or succeed. Now having only the words left in his head that his mother gave him when he was a little child "out of all the people that lives on earth no one faces a future as brights as yours" he leaped, then the net appeared.

    He finally got his chance from a gentlemen name Eddie Forte . And he took full advantage of that opprotunity ,the project would be called Heritage Home phase 2,. He threw himself into his work and successfully built his first fifteen Foundations. His firm also went on to complete bigger project with well know firm such as McHugh where they perform site work on the project Roosevelt square phase2.

    Rockwell gardens phase2 with Burling Builders was another successful project for the firm, and Wal-Mart shops and lofts with McShane, just to name a few.It was out of his very doubt and suffering that the supreme joy we have all come to know as Q&R Construction Firm was born.

    Where he decided that he would be more than just another Construction company he would be the best. He would become an erudite in his field, set new standards, break old habits ,and blaze new trails. Graduating from West Wood College with a Bachelors degree in business in 2011 marks another milestone for the young entrepreneur who has only begun to show the world of Concrete whats possible when you believe.
